Electromagnetic crane / magnetic crane is a kind of material handling equipment, equipped with detachable electromagnetic chuck and corresponding operating system to handle and lift metal objects. The structure of the QC electromagnetic bridge crane is basically the same as that of the hook bridge crane. It is mainly composed of a box-shaped bridge frame, a lifting trolley, a trolley operating mechanism and an electrical control system. The difference is that a DC lifting electromagnetic chuck is hung on the hook, which is used to lift magnetically conductive ferrous metals and their products. The AC power is converted into DC power through the thyristor DC box installed in the cab, and then the DC power is sent to the electromagnetic chuck with a cable through a special cable reel installed on the trolley. It is especially suitable for heavy loading, unloading and transportation of magnetic ferrous metal products and materials (such as steel ingots, steel sections, pig iron blocks, etc.) in metallurgical factories between fixed spans indoors or in the open air. It is also commonly used in machinery factories and warehouses to transport steel materials, iron blocks, scrap steel, iron filings and other materials.
